Lately in my little corner of the world, we have been celebrating my mom's birthday. It's actually not until tomorrow, but we've been celebrating here and there for the past week. She and I took a trip to the coast (Santa Cruz, and Capitola area), and had a blast! We used to travel together so often, but it  was the first trip we'd taken together, just the two of us, in a few years now, and it couldn't have been a better time. This last Saturday we celebrated with the family, and I got to give her the new digital camera we bought her. She was so excited, it was just magical. I'm so happy to have gotten her something she's wanted for so long. Here are some pictures from the past week and a half or so.
